    Maj. Gen. Stephen R. Lanza (left), commanding general of the 7th Infantry Division, presents Spc. On that day, Rubino, of Olympia, Wash., received a photo on his cell phone of his former squad leader holding a loaded gun to his head. He quickly alerted the authorities at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, where the squad leader was located, and they were able to get the soldier to the hospital for treatment and observation.
