Two U.S. Navy personnel in NWU Type III (AOR-2) camouflage uniforms are shaking hands in what appears to be an official military setting. The individual on the right, identified by name tape as 'CAUDLE,' displays four-star rank insignia indicating the rank of Admiral, while the individual on the left, identified as 'GONZALEZMIRANDA,' appears to be a Petty Officer. The setting includes multiple ceremonial flags and a naval painting in the background, suggesting a formal recognition or award ceremony.

    Chief of Naval Operations

Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) Adm. Daryl Caudle and Master Chief Petty Officer (MCPON) of the Navy John Perryman visit Naval Station Mayport, Florida, Sept. 9, 2026. During the visit, CNO and MCPON met with leadership at U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command/U.S. 4th Fleet headquarters, conducted an all-hands call with Sailors at the base gym, and delivered remarks aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Thomas Hudner (DDG 116). The visit provided an opportunity to engage directly with Sailors and reinforce the Navy’s focus on warfighting readiness and the people who make the mission possible.
