    U.S. Marine Corps Staff Sgt. Kyle Grunder, a drill master with 1st Recruit Training Battalion, Recruit Training Regiment, Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, rings a liberty bell during a company motivational run at MCRD San Diego, California, Aug. 27, 2026. The company motivational run is a three-mile cadence run conducted around the Depot and is the last physical training event the Marines will conduct before they graduate from MCRD San Diego.
