    Japan Air Self-Defense Force cadets and U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Colin Thibault, a combat videographer with Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron (H&HS), Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, and a native of Swansea, Massachusetts, compete in a friendly pull-up competition during a tour of the installation at MCAS Iwakuni, Japan, September 2, 2026. The tour gave JASDF cadets an opportunity to engage with U.S. Marine Corps non-commissioned officers and Sailors with various units on MCAS Iwakuni, learn about the aircraft on station and gain insight into joint operations with an allied nation.
