    189th Airlift Wing   

    U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Breck Hager, a 189th Airlift Wing flight engineer, monitors intercom systems aboard a C-130H Hercules assigned to the 189th AW at Little Rock Air Force Base, Arkansas, Sept. 2, 2026. Flight engineers diagnose in-flight mechanical issues and act as the liaison between flight operations and maintenance crews on the ground to ensure mission readiness.
