    Soldiers and staff assigned to the 168th Multifunctional Medical Battalion, 65th Medical Brigade, conduct deglycerolization stress testing on previously frozen blood at Camp Humphreys, South Korea, Aug. 25, 2026. Deglycerolization of this blood was a real-world tri-lateral effort between the Japanese Red Cross, Korean Red Cross, and the U.S. Army for a patient, demonstrating the capabilities, support, and partnership of the U.S. Army and local organizations.
