    Hawaii Guardsmen with the search and extraction team prepare and rehearse with rescue equipment, Hanapepe, Hawaii, Sept. 07, 2026. In preparation for Hurricane Lowell, the HING has pre-positioning personnel, equipment and high-wheeled vehicles on Kauai and are ready to respond as requests are received.
