    The Northern Marianas College president Frankie M. Eliptico and RFO commander MAJ Blake Jones tour the first nine completed modular classrooms at the college in Saipan, Northern Mariana Islands, Sept. 4, 2026. The classrooms are part of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ ongoing recovery efforts following Super Typhoon Sinlaku and will help restore critical educational facilities for students and faculty. USACE continues to work with local partners to support the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands’ recovery and build a more resilient campus community.
