Nylah A. Jennings, daughter of Sgt. 1st Class Anthony R. Jennings assigned to C Company, 508th Special Troops Battalion, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, and Isabelle Jennings, puts on the firefighting helmet and coat of Staff Sgt. Brian J. Hessler, an active duty firefighter assigned to 513th Firefighting Detachment. Jennings and Hessler exchanged fire hats at National Night Out Safety Fair hosted by Corvias Military Housing managers. Hessler and other firefighters work and train directly with Department of Emergency Services of Fort Bragg firefighters and first responders. Soldiers and families enjoy learning easy safety measures for life and travel on and off installation at Fort Bragg, N.C., Aug. 7. "NNO gives every agency on post the opportunity to give something fun back to the residents, educating in a fun manner," said Tammy Wilbur-Halstad, family services program manager for Corvias and herself a military family member.
