    U.S. Green Berets assigned to 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne), watch a demonstration of a rescue hoist operation in South Sumatra, Indonesia, Sep. 2, 2026. Hoist rescue operations are conducted to extract patients from hostile or inaccessible terrain.
