    U.S. Coast Guard Petty Officer 2nd Class Carmelo Serrano, a crew member aboard Legend-class maritime security cutter USCGC Bertholf (WMSL 750), fires an M240B machine gun during a gunnery exercise in the Indo-Pacific Ocean, Aug. 27, 2026. Bertholf is forward-deployed and currently assigned to Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s largest DESRON and U.S. 7th Fleet’s principal surface force.
