Military personnel in MultiCam/OCP camouflage uniforms are conducting what appears to be a medical training exercise inside a large military aircraft (likely a C-17 or C-5). A standing soldier wearing blue medical gloves is attending to a seated soldier who has simulated wound makeup (red marks) on his face and is tagged with a triage number '26'. Several other uniformed personnel observe or participate in the background.

U.S. Soldiers assigned to the 1st Infantry Division (1ID) receive simulated injuries, while assigned as rolepayers for a joint U.S.-Polish (USPOL) mass casualty exercise, alongside medics and physician’s assistants with the 928th Medical Company Area Support and 1ID, and Polish military and civilian firefighters and medical personnel, Sept. 2, 2026 in Powidz, Poland. The USPOL exercise, and events like it, promote relations with our NATO partners and allies, strengthens interoperability, and supports medical readiness efforts across the European theater.
