U.S. National Guardsmen, assigned to Joint Task Force-District of Columbia (JTF-DC) in support of the DC Safe and Beautiful mission, practice grapple and hold techniques at the DC Armory in Washington, Sept. 2, 2026. Training in hand-to-hand combat is one of the fundamental building blocks for training the modern Soldier.
