    FORT BRAGG, N.C. — U.S. Army Special Operations (ARSOF) Civil Affairs Soldiers provide tactical combat casualty care to team member sustaining a simulated casualty during a recent validation exercise, or VALEX, at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. VALEX is one of the final challenges ARSOF Civil Affairs Soldiers endure which assesses their collective proficiency across their mission-essential tasks and certifies their readiness for future operations.
