    Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point

    Jason Canfield, a USMCmax program manager with Marine Corps Installations Command, leads a discussion on barracks maintenance management during a site visit at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina, Sept. 1, 2026. Throughout the visit, MCICOM representatives conducted an evaluation of the policies, guidance, processes, workflows and tools that enable barracks maintenance, with the aim of identifying high-impact opportunities to strengthen enterprise readiness, optimize resource alignment and drive sustained performance improvement. Barracks 2030 is a Marine Corps initiative to improve the quality of life for Marines through the modernization of facilities and the professionalization of barracks management.
