    U.S. Army Cpl. Aaron Goolsby, assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 3rd Field Artillery Regiment, 1st Armored Division, prepares a handheld counter-drone electronic warfare system before leading training at Pabradė Training Area, Lithuania, Aug. 27th, 2026. Goolsby serves on a Fixed Site-Low, Slow, Small Unmanned Aircraft Integrated Defeat System team, which provides air defense against hostile air threats for installations. V Corps is the U.S. Army's only forward-deployed corps, serving as the senior tactical headquarters for Army forces in Eastern Europe to deter conflict and provide combat-ready forces alongside our NATO Allies.
