    U.S. Special Operations Command Pacific

    A U.S. Green Beret assigned to 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne), conducts Jumpmaster duties during a Military Free Fall (MFF), in South Sumatra, Indonesia, Sept. 1, 2026. The combined MFF is participated by U.S. Green Berets, Indonesia Nation Armed Forces, French Army, and Japanese Special Operations to enhance airborne infiltration capabilities and the unit's ability to conduct special operations missions in complex environments.

    1st SFG(A) maintains highly lethal, rapidly deployable forces to execute the full spectrum of special operations alongside allies, partners, and the joint force as the preferred partner and premier special operations entity in the U.S. Pacific Command area of responsibility.
