Ryan Hageali, the lead martial arts instructor trainer assigned to 3rd Marine Littoral Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, ground fights a student during Martial Arts Instructor Course 104-26 at Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Aug. 28, 2026. The three-week MAI course combines rigorous physical conditioning and academic instruction to certify Marines to train, supervise, and advance students in the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program, building CALTRAP Ready warfighters and physically tough Marines ready for the battlefield.
