Soldiers with the Mongolian Armed and Cadets with the U.S. Army Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) act as simulated casualties during a combat first aid training, Aug. 6. Approximately 1,000 service members from 13 different nations are participating in Khaan Quest 2013 in Mongolia, with a command post exercise (CPX) and field training exercise (FTX) at Five Hills Training Area in Mongolia, both focusing on peacekeeping and stability operations. U.S. Marine Corps Forces Pacific is the executive agent for this year's exercise.
