    The Senior Enlisted Advisor of Pacific Command, United States Marine Corps Sgt. Major Eric Cook addresses Soldiers assigned to 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) and 5th Security Force Advisor Brigade at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington, Aug. 28, 2026. This visit highlights the cooperation between 1st SFG(A) and 5th SFAB who share a role in strengthening U.S. Army presence in the Pacific theater. 1st SFG(A) maintains highly lethal, rapidly deployable forces to execute the full spectrum of special operations alongside allies, partners, and the joint force as the preferred partner and premier special operations entity in the U.S. Pacific Command area of responsibility.
