FLEET ACTIVITIES YOKOSUKA, Japan (Aug. 28, 2026) — Lt. Cmdr. Justin Strauss, Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka’s (CFAY) transient personnel unit officer in charge, takes an Oath of Office from Capt. Jon Hopkins, CFAY, left, during a promotion ceremony at the installation’s Fleet Theater. For more than 75 years, CFAY has provided, maintained, and operated base facilities and services in support of the U.S. 7th Fleet's forward-deployed naval forces, tenant commands, and thousands of military and civilian personnel and their families.
