The Advanced Combat helmet was presented back to a soldier with the 201st Battlefield Surveillance Brigade, after he was shot in the head during an ambush in Afghanistan. A ceremony was held to allow the Program Executive Office to return Sgt. Roger Daniels helmet to him at Joint Base Lewis- McChord Aug. 2.
