Duncan Taylor, an emergency medicine physician assigned to 1st Medical Battalion, 1st Marine Logistics Group, directs medical personnel on casualty care during a medical exercise on Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, CA, August 27, 2026. Sailors participated in multiple simulated casualty scenarios to receive their Role 2 medical certification.
