Modern Army Combatives instructor Sgt. 1st Class Steven Metzger holds the TAG Combatives Tournament Team Trophy as Staff Sgt. Todd Bentson explains the significance and history of the trophy. The axe in the trophy was forged by retired Brig. Gen. Michael Glisson, an artisan blacksmith, out of the medal in a decommissioned Army truck. The team trophy was presented to the 2nd Battalion, 130th Infantry Regiment after the tournament, Aug. 22-23, at American Jujitsu in Springfield.
