Johnson, North Carolina, Aug. 28, 2026. Marine Corps Installations East-Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune is dedicated to honoring the legacy of the first African American men who enlisted and trained in the United States Marine Corps from 1942 to 1949 by hosting this annual event.
