    U.S. Air Force Air Force Airman Trentin Bussie, an aerospace medical service specialist, assigned to the 109th Aerial Evacuation Squadron, Minnesota Air National Guard, utilizes equipment from a medical kit from the Operational K9 Medical Team of Wisconsin during Patriot 26, Aug. 22, 2026, at Volk Field Air National Guard Base, Camp Douglas, Wisconsin. Patriot 26, an Air National Guard-hosted exercise taking place at Volk Field Combat Readiness Training Center, brings together approximately 1,000 Airmen and Soldiers from National Guard units across 35 states, along with federal, state and local agencies, to enhance domestic response readiness and interagency coordination during large-scale emergencies.
