Utah Wing Civil Air Patrol collects imagery of critical infrastructure and key resources during Exercise Red Iguana in the Salt Lake Valley, Utah, August 22, 2026. This imagery will be used for disaster response planning and mitigation, particularly with earthquake disaster response. A joint effort between the Utah National Guard and Civil Air Patrol gave leaders a clearer picture of what capabilities can be used during a real-world emergency.
