U.S. Marines assigned to Battalion Landing Team 2/4, 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, return to Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Makin Island (LHD 8) after executing a simulated tactical recovery of aircraft and personnel training mission as part of routine training off the coast of California, Aug. 20, 2026.
