    Nikolai Cardona, standing, and James Payne practice taking vital signs during Tripler Army Medical Center’s VolunTEEN program. Created in collaboration with the American Red Cross, the program provides CPR- and HIPAA-certified teens ages 14-17 with hands-on medical experience. From June 1-July 10, participants volunteer six hours each week for a total of 70 hours, rotating through clinics to support staff and develop professional skills.
