Leaders from 6th Squadron, 1st Cavalry Regiment—including Lt. Col. Michael Myers, the squadron commander; Command Sgt. Maj. Richard Burns, the squadron senior enlisted advisor; and Lt. Col. Phillip Edmondson, Dragoon 6—observed live‑fire missions as fire supporters from 4th Battalion, 70th Armored Regiment provided critical insights to Dragoon leaders at Forward Operating Site Torun, Poland, Aug. 19, 2026.From Aug. 16–22, Bravo and Charlie Batteries, 2nd Battalion, 3rd Field Artillery Regiment, conducted and qualified Artillery Table XII, executing live‑fire missions and performing core artillery tasks. Dragoon leadership observed training on Aug. 19 to gain insight into how the field artillery battalion fights and survives, and how Dragoons, the brigade fire support element, and the gunners synchronize to enable the Ready First Combat Team.
Fox Forward Support Battery, supported by Headquarters and Headquarters Battery, provided sustainment, logistics, field maintenance, and recovery operations for the firing batteries.
