    U.S. Navy Aviation Boatswain’s Mate (Fuel) Airman Santiago Alvarez, assigned to Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Makin Island (LHD 8), connects a fuel line to Landing Craft, Air Cushion 64, attached to Assault Craft Unit 5, in the well deck, Aug. 22, 2026.
