On Aug. 23, the Marine Band supported race day in D.C., revving up the crowd at the Freedom 250 Grand Prix. The band performed a patriotic opener for the event, including honors for President Donald Trump and “God Bless America” with acclaimed tenor Arturo Chacón-Cruz.
Pictured here, the President and First Lady arrived to greet drivers before the race.
The iconic views of the National Mall were matched by the thunderous roar of twin-turbocharged engines, pre-race performances by multiple military ensembles, seven booming flyovers and the music from “The President’s Own.”
