U.S. Marine Corps Capt. Dane Schielke, an Explosive Ordnance Disposal officer assigned to Headquarters and Support Battalion, Marine Corps Installations Pacific, presents gifts to the guests of honor, Brig. Gen. Christopher Haar, commanding general of 3rd Marine Logistics Group, and Sgt. Maj. Marco Cordero, command senior enlisted leader of 3rd MLG during the Joint-Pacific EOD Memorial Ball on Camp Shields, Okinawa, Japan, Aug. 22, 2026. This memorial was held to honor EOD technicians from across different services who have paid the ultimate sacrifice and celebrate the history of EOD.
