    Ronnie Brinn, a civilian Airman assigned to the 773rd Logistics Readiness Squadron at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, and a retired U.S. Army first sergeant, inspects a parachute for damage Aug. 18, 2026. Brinn was inducted into the U.S. Army Quartermaster School's Parachute Rigger Hall of Fame July 27, 2026, for rewriting the military's Sling Load Inspector Certification Course to improve safety and efficiency. Throughout Brinn’s active duty and civil service career, he has trained hundreds of parachute riggers and rigged over 11,500 heavy platforms and container delivery system bundles, demonstrating a lifetime of commitment to the rigger profession.
