U.S. Navy Sailors observe Military Sealift Command Lewis and Clark-class dry cargo and ammunition ship USNS Alan Shepard (T-AKE 3) from the fo’c’sle aboard Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Mustin (DDG 89) prior to a replenishment-at-sea while underway in the Indian Ocean, Aug. 23, 2026. Mustin is forward-deployed and assigned to Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s largest DESRON and U.S. 7th Fleet’s principal surface force.
