Three Steel Airmen assigned to the 911th Airlift Wing conduct a wing-wide FOD walk on a newly paved portion of the flight line, August 6, 2026, at Pittsburgh International Airport Air Reserve Station, Pennsylvania. The collection of foreign object debris over the projects two-year period posed a threat to aircraft hardware and the safety of personnel. In order to find and dispose of this debris Steel Airmen worked as a team to cover the entirety of the projects footprint. (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt. Timothy Leddick)
