    9th Mission Support Command

    U.S. Army Reserve Spc. Mason Mihkel, assigned to Detachment 1 Mortars, and Spc. William Salas, assigned to Echo Company Mortars, both 100th Battalion, 442nd Infantry Regiment, prepare an 81mm mortar round during Live-Fire Exercise (LFX) as part of Ksatria Warrior 2026 (KW26) at Baturaja Combat Training Center, Indonesia, Aug. 23, 2026. KW26 is the second iteration of the bilateral Army-to-Army military exercise between U.S. Army Pacific (USARPAC) and TNI-AD forces. Operation is focused on building long-lasting partnerships, expanding bilateral interoperability, and increasing unit readiness. Mortar crews rehearsed loading, firing and fire direction procedures while training in a live-fire environment.
