Benjamin Ricks, a prosthodontist assigned to Pacific Partnership 2026 (PP26), performs a dental extraction for a Timorese local during a PP26 dental engagement at the University of Dili dental clinic in Dili, Timor-Leste, Aug. 21, 2026. During the event, U.S. and partner nation military dental healthcare professionals performed dental exams, cleanings, and extractions, while providing training to university students. Now in its 22nd iteration, the Pacific Partnership series is the largest annual multinational humanitarian assistance and disaster management preparedness mission conducted in the region. Pacific Partnership works collaboratively with host and partner nations to enhance regional interoperability and disaster response capabilities, increase security in the region, and foster new and enduring friendships in the Indo-Pacific.
