U.S. Marines Corps Lance Cpl. Jason Twobulls, a bulk fuel specialist with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 268 (Reinforced), Marine Rotational Force – Darwin 26, refuels a MV-22B Osprey tiltrotor aircraft from a Tactical Aviation Ground Refueling System during a forward arming and refueling point training exercise at Mount Bundy Training Area in Northern Territory, Australia, Aug. 21, 2026. MRF-D conducted the exercise to test their capabilities to refuel aircraft in isolated locations. MRF-D is an annual six-month rotational deployment to enhance interoperability with the Australian Defence Force and allies and partners and provide a forward-postured crisis response force in the Indo-Pacific.
