Army personnel operate an Avenger air defense system during a NORAD Temporary Flight Restriction enforcement mission in Bedminster, New Jersey, Aug. 9, 2026. NORAD employed a combination of airborne and ground-based capabilities to monitor and protect the airspace during the enforcement of Federal Aviation Administration-established TFRs.
