The 177th Armored Brigade’s observer, coach, trainers worked alongside Charlie Battery, 1st Battalion, 117th Field Artillery Regiment, 142nd Field Artillery Brigade, Alabama National Guard, during Pre-Mobilization training in Anniston, Alabama, Aug. 13-18, 2026. Leaders from across the organization conducted a live-fire exercise synchronization to align safety considerations and ensure the unit was prepared to execute training safely and effectively.
The synchronization focused on key risk considerations, including weapons safety, heat-related hazards and precautions to protect Soldiers throughout the exercise. Through close partnership and deliberate preparation, the 177th OC/Ts helped strengthen the unit’s readiness and ability to operate safely and effectively as it prepares for mobilization.
