Military leaders and defense innovators gathered Aug. 19 for the J-REX 26.3, or the Joint Readiness Experimentation Distinguished Visitors Day, hosted at White Sands Missile Range. The Department of War highlighted its Low-Cost Containerized Missiles program with a live ground-launch demonstration; J-REX also featured static displays that let guests engage directly with subject matter experts. Hon. Emil Michael (center left), Under Secretary of War for Research and Engineering and Chief Technology Officer for the Department of War, was amongst the distinguished visitors throughout the day’s activities.
