Marines operating a MK III Bridge Erection Boat with Bridge Company, 8th Engineer Support Battalion, 2nd Marine Logistics Group haul an Improved Ribbon Bridge, or IRB, used during a training exercise at Engineer Point aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., July 30, 2013. Approximately 44 soldiers with 502nd Multi-Role Bridge Company, based at Fort Knox, Ky., worked with Marines to build a continuous span piece-by-piece using 43 IRBs.
