U.S. Soldiers stationed in Grafenwoehr, Hohenfels and Ansbach, along with German Soldiers and emergency response representatives from the community, attend a memorial service honoring service members from 2nd Battalion, 4th Infantry Division, and 4th Aviation Company, 15th Aviation Group, who were casualties in a 1971 Chinook CH-47 crash in Pegnitz, Germany, Aug. 18, 2026.
