David Henderson, 41st Field Artillery Brigade Commander, honor service members from 2nd Battalion, 4th Infantry Division, and 4th Aviation Company, 15th Aviation Group, who were casualties in a 1971 Chinook CH-47 crash during a memorial service in Pegnitz, Germany, Aug. 18, 2026. On Aug. 18, 1971, 37 Soldiers died near Pegnitz, Germany, resulting in the most casualties involving American troops in West Germany since the end of World War II. (U.S. Army photo by Cpl.
