    The Department of War (DoW) Manufacturing Technology (ManTech) Program marked its 70th anniversary, August 10, 2026, with a series of commemorative events at the Pentagon, including ceremonies recognizing award-winning projects in defense manufacturing technology from across the military services. Lionel Vargas-Gonzalez accepted the Army ManTech Service award on behalf the Novel Ultra-Strong Low-Cost Film Manufacturing Technology project.
