A military parade is taking place on a public street in what appears to be a Polish town, based on visible Polish flag patches on uniforms and Polish-language signage on surrounding buildings. Soldiers in camouflage uniforms, green berets, and red scarves march in formation while carrying rifles. Civilians line the street to observe the parade.

Polish Land Forces soldiers assigned to the 16th Pomaranian Mechanized Division, march during a Polish Armed Forces Day parade in Orzysz, Poland, Aug. 16, 2026. This national holiday, observed annually on or around Aug. 15, commemorates Poland’s victory over Soviet Russia in the 1920 Battle of Warsaw during the Polish-Soviet War. The NATO FLF Battle Group-Poland attended the parade as one of V Corps’ ready forces in Europe. The battle group builds vigilance, lethality, and interoperability through collaborative forums, multinational exercises, unit-level training, and professional relationships with allies.
