    Capt. Gabrielle Northrop, Commander of Delta Company, 2-159th Attack Battalion, 12th Combat Aviation Brigade(Left) stands beside her husband, Capt. William Northrop during the activation ceremony in which he assumes command of the newly established Golf Company on August 4, 2026 during the activation ceremony. 2-159’s newest addition, Golf Company, is being activated as an Aviation Support Company, primarily charged with conducting schedule and 500 hours phase maintenance.
