Brig. Gen. Andrew R. Morgan, deputy commanding general, U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command, participates in the U.S. Space Command panel at the Space and Missile Defense Symposium in Huntsville, Alabama, Aug. 11. Morgan, who first served with the command in 2013, reflected on USASMDC's ongoing transformation noting that the command has grown six times larger since his initial assignment. Despite this immense growth, Morgan emphasized that the command’s foundational mission remains unchanged, continuing to serve as the critical Army Service Component Command to U.S. Space Command, U.S. Northern Command, and U.S. Strategic Command.
