Army Col. Brian D. Allgood, first from the left, is honored in a memorial at Camp Victory in Baghdad, Iraq, after a helicopter carrying himself and 11 other service members was brought down by a surface-to-air missile. Allgood’s shining career of “others focused” leadership and transformational military medical care led to the posthumous dedication of the Brian D. Allgood Community Hospital in Korea.
